Collecting all 49 cans in Stellar Blade is more than just a completionist's errand. It is a strategic gameplay move that directly impacts Eve’s combat effectiveness and aesthetic options. Beyond the high-tier rewards like the Black Pearl Nano Suit, reaching specific milestones in your collection increases the maximum capacity for consumables, such as grenades and recovery potions. This makes exploration in Eidos 7, the Wasteland, and the Great Desert essential for long-term survival.

The Mechanics of Can Hunting

Before heading into the wilds, prioritize upgrading your drone. The "Can Detector" upgrade, available at any repair console once you have enough Drone Upgrade Modules, is indispensable. It causes your controller to vibrate and the drone to ping when a collectible is nearby. Without this, many cans hidden behind breakable walls or on high ledges are easily missed.

There are also two critical "Points of No Return" to monitor. The first occurs after completing the Abyss Levoire mission and reporting back to Orcal. The second happens before heading to Spire 4. If you miss cans in Eidos 7 or Xion before these events, you may be locked out of the full collection until New Game Plus.

Eidos 7 Can Locations

Eidos 7 is the first major area, but some cans are only accessible after the water levels are drained via side quests.

  1. Cryo Original (Can #1): Located in the Flooded Commercial Sector. You must first complete the "Oblivion" side quest to drain the area. Once drained, head to the lowest level near Warehouse 77. A vending machine on the left wall contains this classic beverage.
  2. Elixir Carrot (Can #25): Also in the Flooded Commercial Sector post-drainage. Look for the "Red Grill" restaurant in the southwest corner. The can is sitting on a table inside the building with the flashing red neon sign.
  3. Potential Blast (Can #33): Found in the Construction Zone. From the Supply Camp, head northwest toward a building frame with a swing bar. Climb to the third floor using the yellow ledges; the can is on a desk next to a crate.

Xion City Secrets

Xion acts as the central hub. Most cans here are hidden in vending machines or alleyways.

  1. Pixie (Can #3): Near the northern entrance of the Main Square. It’s sitting on the ground near a pile of boxes by the mannequin shop.
  2. The Machinetta Caramel Macchiato (Can #11): In the northeast section of the Main Square. Look for a FIZ vending machine tucked behind a set of stairs near Dello’s shop.
  3. Behemoth Red (Can #27): Located in the western alley leading toward the "Last Gulp" bar. A vending machine on the left side of the narrow passage holds this one.
  4. Bayern Weissbier Dunkel (Can #45): At the very end of the southern alleyway near the Bulletin Board. It is lying on the ground near a dead end.
  5. Dionysus C (Can #36): North of the Bulletin Board. You will see a set of stairs leading down to a lower level; the can is on a railing near the top of the staircase.
  6. Mountain Sparkle Mont Blanc (Can #39): Look for the walkway overlooking Sisters' Junk. There is a vending machine on the upper platform.
  7. The Machinetta Americano (Can #9): Northeast of Gwen’s Hair Salon. Check the elevated alleyway that overlooks the main street; a vending machine is positioned against the back wall.
  8. Graint Oolong (Can #8): Near the bridge to the Tetrapod. Look for a rope on the left before you cross. Slide down, jump across the gap to the small ledge, and pick up the can.

Wasteland Exploration

The Wasteland is vast and requires significant platforming. Many cans here are tied to environment puzzles.

  1. Potential Tempest (Can #34): Located in the Solar Tower area. To open the chest on the shipping crate, you must activate four terminals in the vicinity. Use the yellow movable box to reach the terminal on top of the blue containers.
  2. Bayern Hefe Weissbier (Can #44): Found in the Scrap Plains. Follow the downhill path east of the central camp. A vending machine is located on the north side of the road.
  3. Cryo The Clear (Can #42): This is in the Forbidden Area. During the "Life of the Scavengers" quest, you will slide down a giant shaft. Halfway down, there is a door on the west side. The can is inside that room.
  4. Graint Corn (Can #20): Located in the Scrap Plains near the wall-running section. A vending machine sits between the signs for the North Lake Mall.
  5. Behemoth Green (Can #6): Found in the Central Great Canyon. You must solve a pressure plate puzzle by rolling large metal balls into the designated slots. The final ball is guarded by a Dozer to the south.
  6. Cryo Zero (Can #10): This one is hidden within a rock formation northwest of the Central Great Canyon camp. You must shoot a floating dartboard. Follow it as it moves and shoot it twice more to spawn the chest.
  7. Cryo Cafe Original (Can #12): Pass through the large derelict ship in the western canyon. Follow the cliffside to the left; the can is sitting on the ground near the edge.
  8. Nectar Orange (Can #16): In the plus-shaped area of the map. You need to move a yellow crate from the northern section to the southern platform to jump high enough to reach the ledge.
  9. Graint Barley (Can #17): Located behind the Altess Levoire entrance. There is a gated area that acts as a shortcut; the can is tucked behind the elevator structure.
  10. Pixie Zero (Can #21): From the Solar Tower, head east. You will need to perform a series of double jumps across metal beams and climb a ladder to reach the high platform where this can sits.
  11. The Haven Green Tea (Can #24): Near the Junkyard. Look off the cliff to see three suspended beams. Use your ranged attack to hit the sensors, which causes a yellow drone to drop the can onto the path.
  12. Nectar Cranberry (Can #28): In the northern Great Desert border area. Look for the waypoint phone. You will need to jump across a series of hovering drones using dash and double jump to reach the supply box.
  13. Milky Pop Zero (Can #29): Near the Solar Tower. Scan for a rock formation with a corpse. Shoot the dartboard to drop a rope, then climb up to find the can.
  14. Cryo Cafe Mocha (Can #30): In the western Wasteland. There is a cooler on a stack of crates. You must shoot three dartboards in rapid succession to unlock the cooler.
  15. Corsair Lager (Can #46): Northwest of the Scrap Plains camp. This is a timed puzzle. Hit the lever, dodge the turrets, and reach the lowered platform before it retracts.

Matrix 11 Cans

Matrix 11 is a linear dungeon, so these are easy to miss if you don't look behind you.

  1. Cryo Cafe Vanilla (Can #13): In the train maintenance room after the Stalker boss fight. It is hidden under the yellow metal walkway on the ground floor.
  2. Newfoundland Dry (Can #5): In the room where you fight the Juggernaut. Before leaving, check behind the stack of shipping crates in the corner.
  3. Corsair Ale (Can #47): In the flooded section following the Juggernaut fight. You must swim underwater through a gap in the fence on the far right side of the room.

The Great Desert Collection

The Great Desert contains the highest concentration of cans, many of which are in plain sight in vending machines.

  1. Nectar Apple (Can #14): In a vending machine right next to the Northern Great Desert Legion Camp.
  2. The Machinetta Cafe Latte (Can #15): Found in the Plant area. During the "Incarceration" quest, move the three yellow blocks onto the glowing floor pads to spawn the supply box.
  3. Newfoundland Dry Zero (Can #18): Near Exile’s Passage. Look for Lesser Lurkers burrowing in the sand near some sparse vegetation; the can is on the ground nearby.
  4. Milky Pop (Can #19): In a vending machine located at the Northern Great Desert camp.
  5. Nectar Grape (Can #22): Found in a vending machine at the Central Great Desert camp.
  6. Elixir Green (Can #23): Located in a vending machine at the Southern Great Desert camp.

  8. Cryo Cafe Latte (Can #31): Located in a vending machine within the Crumbled City ruins in the east.
  9. Mountain Sparkle Halla (Can #32): North of the camp, climb the yellow handholds on the cliffside. The can is on a secluded ledge.
  10. Liquid Nectar (Can #35): In the Barren Land. Take the southeast path toward the Scrap Plains. Inside a room infested with Creepers, move the yellow crate to the ledge to reach the supply box.
  11. Graint Oolong (Can #37): Another vending machine can, located at the Central Great Desert camp.
  12. Newfoundland Dry Ginger Ale (Can #38): Found in the vending machine at the Southern Great Desert camp.
  13. Dew Zero (Can #40): Located in a vending machine at the Western Great Desert camp.
  14. Mountain Sparkle Everest (Can #41): In the Buried Ruins. You must reach the roof of the tallest building using the fire escapes and swinging bars.
  15. Liquid Fire (Can #43): In the central ruins. This can is inside a chest that requires you to defeat a group of enemies within a time limit.
  16. The Haven Earl Grey (Can #48): On the far eastern edge of the desert. It is sitting on a table in a small ruined outpost.

Spire 4 Cans

These must be collected during the Spire 4 mission before completing the level.

  1. Milky Pop (Can #7): In the Space Center entrance. Look behind the reception desk on the ground floor.
  2. Liquid Lightning (Can #31): In the Cargo Lift area. Before activating the lift, check the maintenance room to the side.
  3. Nectar Apple (Can #23): Found in the Passenger Orbit corridor. It is in a vending machine halfway through the hall.
  4. Moonwell (Can #49): Located in the final hallway before the boss of Spire 4. It is sitting on a bench in the lounge area.

Collection Milestone Rewards

Once you collect these cans, return to the Tetrapod in Xion. Lily has set up a display cabinet where you can see your progress. The rewards trigger at the following thresholds:

  • 7 Cans: Increases max capacity for Small Recovery Potions.
  • 14 Cans: Increases max capacity for Grenades.
  • 21 Cans: Increases max capacity for Medium Recovery Potions.
  • 28 Cans: Increases max capacity for various utility items.
  • 35 Cans: Increases max capacity for Highly Concentrated Recovery Potions.
  • 42 Cans: Increases max capacity for all consumables again.
  • 49 Cans: Unlocks the Black Pearl Nano Suit, one of the most sought-after outfits in the game.

Collecting every can is a test of observation and platforming skills. While the drone upgrade makes the task easier, paying attention to the environment and completing regional side quests is the only way to ensure nothing is left behind. If you are aiming for the Platinum Trophy, this is one of the most time-consuming yet rewarding tasks Eve will undertake.
